Gwern Borter Manor is a country retreat nestled in 12 acres of grounds on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.
The main manor is of early 19th century origin and was a frequent haunt of King Edward VII of England, who found it to be a rewarding and peaceful hunting retreat.
Today, it is a popular destination amongst local and foreign tourists who want to explore the local countryside or just simply relax. Our rooms are elegantly-decorated and combine contemporary comfort with the rich history of the manor. They all come with countryside views, en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee, hairdryers, WiFi and a delicious traditional Welsh breakfast. Those fascinated by old-world charm are captivated by the unique period features, antique furniture, original paintings and of course the historic architecture. The original structure includes an oak-panelled entrance hall, opulent dining room, comfortable lounge and reading area. Upon venturing outside, you will find a patio, enchanting garden and lake where you can sit and relax.
