At the heart of Gwern Borter Manor is a very passionate family and team, dedicated to creating lasting memories for our guests, who return time and again for celebrations, escapes and to visit the many attractions in the surrounding area. For us, hospitality starts with a very warm welcome and ends with a friendly goodbye, with great service, lovely decor and wholesome breakfast experiences in between.
Gwern Borter Manor was built in 1840 and is most famously known for being used as a hunting retreat by King Edward VII of England. Today, it is a family run 5 bedroom bed and breakfast with stylish, warm and comfartable interiors. Upon entering you'll find an oak-panelled entrance hall, opulent dining room, comfortable lounge and reading area. Outside is a south facing patio and garden where you can destress or simply sit and chat. The bedrooms are all individually designed and have countryside views, fresh white linen, antique furniture, en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee, hairdryers, WiFi and come with a delicious breakfast.
We guarantee everyone a warm welcome and want you to enjoy yourself, after all, that's what staying somewhere special should be all about.
